Pumpkins!

My two favorite Pumpkins!!

It didn't last for long. Emma's a girl on the move. But aren't they somethin'?

Emma is just having a blast exploring. She loves to walk around. She insists on it!

Lovin' the pumpkins.

Can I hug it?

Can I kiss it?

So last year we couldn't do the John Deere racers because the age was from 4-7 and he was 3. And of course we weren't gonna cheat and lie about his age. We could of because he's a big boy. But we did the right thing. So Caden has been talking about these darn racers ALL year. He has never forgotten!!! Really...so here we go! He's 4 now and legal! We get there and the sign says ages 5-8! #@*$! Can you believe it! So we got him on like the rest of the parents with there 3 and 4 year olds! They weren't really making a big deal about it. SO there! We did it! FINALLY! lol!

This picture just cracks me up!

So Big!

My best boy! Professional poser. Been doin' it since 3 months in a pumpkin patch!

You go Caden! When he got off I gave him the biggest hug and kinda got teary eyed! He talked about it so much! He's growing up and the holidays always make me flash back to each one we've had, and I remember just how quick they have passed.

Doot da do!

Our traditional pose on the hay horse. We both may be a bit to big next year for this pose.

Thanks to a friendly stranger we got a family pic. Not the best..but hey there we are!

4th of July & Caden's 4th B-Day

Okay I just uploaded tons of pic's! More than I ever do. It took forever! Does anyone know an easier way that 5 at a time? If you do please do tell! Anyhoo...enjoy!

Caden started off his 4th with a yummy cookie! Our neighbor is always bringing over treats and home made Italian food. Not sure if she likes us or trying to kill us! No really I think she likes us. And we love her and her delicious pasta's!

Caden liked that the cookie matched his band aid on his elbow. Yes there is also one on his knee. He has fallen on that right knee time after time this week. The poor little guys. And yes he has a blue band aid on another sore spot. But we won't say where...those of you who know what happen know what I'm saying. Just gotta love Caden...:)

Okay so Emma is not a fan of fireworks. She doesn't like them at Disneyland and still didn't like them on the 4th. Why oh why did I think she would. Well you never know. Poor little thing was just clinging on to us like crazy. Needless to say we cut it short and left.

But boy did we have to wait to even see a glimpse of these fireworks. We went to RSM lake and they must of had a hard time because the whole ceremony was delayed for like 20-30 minutes. Not fun that late at night, in the cold, on a blanket on wet grass, with 2 tired kiddos. But we did it!

If you know Emma she does this little sucking thing with her little tongue out when she is tired. She has done it since she was just days old. She is doing it here. I just love it.

Cheese!

Over here buddy!

OMG! The fireworks started...kinda. One would go off...then a delay...another one....then two...then one.....then a delay. Whew! Not the most put together event. But the sky did light up...like I said, kinda.

Hey there's one!

Um, think that's the same one.

Okay that was the 4th. NOW IT"S THE 7TH OF JULY! MY FIRST BORN'S 4THE BIRTHDAY! OH WHERE DID THE TIME GO!!! YES I AM SHOUTING...HEE HEE

Caden requested waffles for breakfast. So we had eggos with lots of syrup and butter and sprinkles. Isn't everything better with a little rainbow sprinkles added to it? I think so...so did Caden! Okay this may be bad but sometimes I would sprinkle them on veggies or other not so desirable foods for him. Is that bad? He ate it! Oh well, I only did a few times. :) Shh don't tell!

Caden woke up to birthday fun! A family room filled with balloons and presents and ton's of hugs and kisses from mommy and daddy. And Emma too!

Okay he doesn't look happy here but come on it's early to have the flash of the camera go off in you face.

And this boy just won't look in the camera anymore!

I don't know exactly when this happened but Caden really thinks that when he makes this face he is smiling. It cracks me up. I have like 5-6 pic's of him making this face. That's his smile lately. You just may see it again soon!

There's a good one! Good job Caden!

A card from mommy and daddy.

The highlight of Caden's day was going to visit his Jampa for lunch. Nana met us there and we had the most fab lunch at this place called the Veggie Grill at Irvine Spectrum. Jim stumbled upon it and man it's good. Everything is vegetarian and they serve no soda...which is their only downfall. But they have a delicious assortment of iced tea's and lemonades. You would never know you weren't eating meat. So good!

Big boy!

Emma was not having a good day. She just wanted to sleep.

She was sucking her shoulder. One of her self-soothing things she does when she's sleepy.

Look at those lips!

Weeeeee!

What a handsome boy.

Come on mom...that's enough.

Caden was so funny sitting and waiting all by his lonesome.

Hmmm...when is this thing gonna get going?

Looking like a sad puppy dog in the window. Please buy me...

He really wasn't this sad. I mean come on it's his b-day. He REALLY did have a fun time.

There's a smile...kinda

Let's try out this 4 thing. Yeah! I'm 4!!!!

Happy Birthday my boy!

Hey! Are we going home now???

Thanks momma!

Caden got to ring the bell.

Birthday dinner at Farrells! FUN!

Cheese!

Grandma saying hi to Emma. Nice necklace Grandma!

Visiting with Aunt Gigi.

Hello Grandpop. Hello Aunt Ami.

Enjoy his fries.

Sitting with his best buddy, Logan.

They stood Caden up on the chair and sang him an Oscar Mayer Wienner B-Day song. My mom says Caden is looking a bit like Buster Keaton here.

There's my happy boy.

Caden made a wish! Hey little Ava!
